Wetsuit Rentals, Wheelset and Saddle Demos

Triathlon Wetsuit Rentals

We have Blue Seventy Reaction wetsuits available to rent.  The Reaction has been designed with a unique air-cell front panel, which improves warmth by creating pockets of air within the suit without reducing buoyancy.  The suit also includes enlarged arm gussets and full body low-friction coating.  The Reaction has been praised for its superior fit.

Rental cost is $35 for a race weekend (Friday Pickup - Monday Return).

Wetsuits are expected to be returned in the condition they left in; you are responsible for any damage (please reference the rental agreement HERE).  If needed, an SBR employee will instruct you how to put on and properly care for the rental wetsuit.  Rental costs CANNOT be credited towards the purchase of a new wetsuit.

Zipp 1080/808 Clincher

The 808 clincher excels whenever the situation calls for an all-around wheelset with a heavy dose of aero attitude. The deep profile and 16/20 front/rear spoke count will satisfy even the most focused time trialists and triathletes, yet it’s stable in crosswinds and stiff enough for the sprinters.

The 1080 Clincher takes advantage of Zipp’s M2CM technology.  It’s the most advanced method to join carbon and aluminum, and it results in a nearly bombproof rim with the convenience of a clincher and the reliability of an aluminum braking surface.  Lest we forget, the 1080 Clincher also features the most aerodynamic non-disc rim in the world.

Reynolds Element/Sixty-Six Clincher

Sixty-Six incorporates Reynolds’ high modulus carbon and refined resin system. That makes them among the lightest on the market, yet still tough enough to command respect on the cobbles of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix.

Reynolds has developed, tested, raced and refined the Element with a relentless attention to detail for one reason: to go very, very fast. The result is a full carbon disc that provides every rider with incomparably low rolling resistance, exceptional torsional stability, and a drag coefficient that is measurably lower than any other similar wheel.

Reynolds Thirty-Two Tubular

The raised arms and ear-to-ear grin of Christoph Riblon said it all, as he crossed the finish line for a solo victory on Stage 14 of the Tour de France. The Reynolds Thirty-Two he was riding climbs like a hot air balloon and descends like a rocket on rails.

 Demo Saddles

Looking for the right saddle or experiencing discomfort with your current one?  We have a selection of saddles that you can try out!  We require a $50 deposit which will be refunded with the return of the saddle or applied to the purchase price of your new saddle.  Saddles are available for week-long demo; deposit is forfeit if saddle is not returned on time.

ISM Adamo

Designed for aggressive riding in aero bars.  This seat offers superb comfort in a normally uncomfortable position. The Adamo is completely UCI compliant for time trialing.  It even sports a nifty transition rack hook on the back for racking your bike.  Uses light weight foam and gel pads with titanium alloy rails.  Dimensions: 245mm x 130mm.

Selle San Marco Zoncolon

Thanks to the particular angle of the saddle end profile, rubbing on the adductor muscles of thighs is reduced by 85%, with subsequent relief while pedaling.  This patent (“Nonshuffle”) also enables the end of the saddle to be used completely as a support surface, for the first time in the history of bicycle saddles, distributing the loads in an optimum way, while obtaining more thrust and increasing control of the bike when cornering.  Dimensions: 288mm x 127mm.

Selle San Marco Mantra

Utilizes the same “Nonshuffle” patented saddle-end profile as the Zoncolon.  Also includes the Arrowhead system, which is the result of clinical tests and ongoing research on the anatomical conformation of riders.  The patent consists of a gradual opening in the saddle for total support and relief in the perennial area.  Dimensions: 290mm x 135mm.

Selle San Marco Regale

The “e” means evolution of a model that was born during the seventies and used by the greatest riders like LeMonde.  Classical inspiration, ultra-modern performance.  Features core-zone; a special double-injection that allows the shell to gradually deform itself without compromising the resistance and performance of the seating area.  This technology increases the level of comfort in a specific point of the saddle.  Dimensions: 278mm x 148mm.
